My wife decided during our stay at home quarantine to start finishing projects. That has turned into more projects for me. We ditched a China cabinet, rearranged the kitchen/dining room space, and I built this kitchen stand microwave cart thing.

Its a relatively simple project using 2x4s and 1x4s. The top was scrap 2x8s. I gave it a quick sand and she painted it white. I used some scraped 2x10s for shelves above it.

Your project doesn’t have to be fancy. You don’t need the nicest wood. Rustic is in. Build it from some cheap pine but give it a good coat of paint.

For the finished project, I installed shelves above the stand to store coffee and mugs.
